Job Description

Following the recent closing of our Series A round of funding, our rapid growth has created the need for a talented and experienced Accounting Manager to join our team. If you would like to work with a SaaS Fintech product and company that is in high demand, and evolving rapidly, this may be the role for you.

This is a unique opportunity for someone to be part of a fast growing startup, surrounded by motivated, hungry and professional individuals looking to bring a modern solution to the financial markets.

 

Responsibilities

  • + Responsible for key accounting activities including monthly close, debits & credits, maintaining the general ledger, preparation of monthly financial statements, financial processes and any future M&A support.
    + Ensuring GAAP financial statements are produced timely and accurately
    + Become affluent in our accounting and BI solutions to drive financial reporting and forecasting for multiple departments.
    + Identify and execute on opportunities for system enhancements and process improvements.
    + Manage Accounts Payable including the timely and accurate recording of vendor and customer invoices, employee expense reports and credit card charges.
    + Prepare, review and approve journal entries and account reconciliations.
    + Review bank statements and bank reconciliations.
    + Assist with implementation of internal controls, new accounting policies and procedures and ongoing process improvements.
    + Perform other accounting or financial ad-hoc projects as required.
    + Analyze and produce KPI dashboards to monitor key SaaS metrics such as LTV, CAC, churn rates and payback period.
    + Own and manage subscription metrics broken down by client tier and products leveraged within.

 

Qualifications

  • + Bachelor’s degree in accounting; CPA certification preferred
  • + 3-6 years of relevant accounting / financial experience, preferably in the SaaS industry.
  • + Strong analytical and technical skills, including a solid understanding of U.S. GAAP
  • + Positive attitude with a willingness to learn
  • + High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency.
