Overview

Sphinx Investments LLC is an independent registered investment adviser that manages a concentrated book of discretionary accounts under a percentage-of-AUM fee model. The firm serves individual and family clients as well as institutional investors, and its advisory services center on financial planning and portfolio management for individuals, small businesses and investment companies. Sphinx Investments is owned by an individual and became SEC-registered in 2024; it is not positioned as a multi-state adviser or a pension consultant and does not identify as an active ESG investor. Investment activity is dominated by pooled public funds rather than direct stock picking. The firm uses managed wrappers—separately managed accounts and mutual fund vehicles—to deliver diversified exposure across standard asset classes.
